Job Description

The job in one line: You'll work closely with the client team, build AI into their Salesforce & other technology stack, and stick around until it's live and people are using it.

"Forward deployed" just means you work closely with the client's team, not behind three layers of project managers. You'll hear the complaints firsthand, build the fix, and watch real users try it.

What You'll Do

• Run discovery with the people who'll use the thing, not just the people who bought it.
• Build with Agentforce, Data Cloud, and LLMs like Claude, plus the integrations that connect them to the client's systems.
• Be the person the client messages when something looks off, and fix it fast.
• Say plainly when a problem doesn't need AI.
• Spot what we keep building over and over, and help turn it into reusable pieces for the next client.

You'll Probably Enjoy This If

• You like variety: a new client, a new industry and a new mess every couple of months.
• You get excited watching someone use what you built and saying "oh, that's useful."
• You can build in the morning and present to a client's leadership in the afternoon.
• You're comfortable not knowing the answer on day one.

You Probably Won't Enjoy This If

• You want to stay on one project for two years.
• You prefer building and handing off, and would rather someone else deal with go-live.
• Client conversations drain you.

What You Need

• 4+ years building software, with at least 2 on Salesforce: Apex, Flows, LWC, APIs.
• Hands-on work with Agentforce or with LLM-based apps outside Salesforce. Ideally both.
• Experience connecting Salesforce to other systems.
• Confidence working directly with clients, including senior people.
• Willingness to work with Australian, UK or US time zones, which means some early mornings or late evenings.
• Occasional travel to client sites.

Nice to Have

• Data Cloud experience.
• Building with the Claude or OpenAI APIs directly.
• Salesforce certifications, though we'll take a good story about something you shipped over a certificate.

Job Description

You'll build things with Claude that people actually use. Some will be for clients, usually sitting next to their technology setup. Some will be for us: the tools our own team uses to write proposals, prepare for discovery calls, review code and get through the day faster.

What You'll Spend Your Time On

• Building agents and workflows on the Claude API. That includes tool use, prompt design, and making sure the agent does the right thing when the input is weird.
• Connecting Claude to where the work lives: Salesforce, Slack, Google Drive, CRMs, and whatever systems a client runs on. MCP servers will be a big part of this.
• Writing Skills and Claude Code setups that our team relies on daily, and improving them when people tell you what's annoying.
• Testing things properly. That means writing evals, checking results, and telling us straight when something isn't ready to ship.
• Keeping an eye on things after launch: cost, speed, and the cases where it gets things wrong.
• Showing the rest of the team what you've learned, through short demos, quick write-ups, or pairing with our Salesforce developers.

You'll Probably Enjoy This If

• You've built something with an LLM and then spent twice as long making it reliable, and you found that part interesting.
• You read Anthropic's release notes the day they come out and want to try the new thing that evening.
• You'd rather show a working prototype than write a document about one.
• You're happy to explain your work to a non-technical client in plain words.

You Probably Won't Enjoy This If

• You need a detailed ticket before you start.
• You think the job is mostly writing clever prompts. Prompts are maybe 20% of it; the rest is plumbing, testing and handling edge cases.
• You'd prefer never to speak to a client.

What You Need

• 3+ years writing production software in Python or TypeScript.
• At least one thing you've built on an LLM API that real people used. Side projects count if people used them.
• A working understanding of tool use, retrieval, evals and agent patterns. If you've built an MCP server, even better.
• Comfort with APIs, Git and deploying your own work.
• Clear written English. A lot of this job is explaining what the AI did and why.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Claude Code, the Claude Agent SDK, or Skills.
• Any Salesforce exposure: Apex, Agentforce, Data Cloud.
• Something public you've built or written that we can look at.

What We Don't Care About

Where you studied, and whether your last job title had "AI" in it. Show us what you've built.

What You Get

Job Description

You'll build on Salesforce — Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce — and with AI tools including Claude and OpenAI. On smaller projects, you'll own delivery end to end, including client calls.

• Data Cloud or Agentforce exposure is a plus, not a requirement
• What you've built matters more than what you're certified in

Job Description

You'll lead Salesforce builds where Agentforce, Data Cloud and LLMs like Claude and OpenAI are core to the solution. Architecture, technical direction, client conversations, and mentoring the developers on your team.

Some of what you'll build won't have documentation yet.

• You'll tell a client when AI is the wrong answer for their problem

Technical Requirements

• Relevant years on Salesforce as a Technical Lead or Architect
• Hands-on across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and Agentforce
• Strong Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, APIs and integrations
• Track record of architecting solutions that went live and stayed stable
• Experience building with Claude, OpenAI or agent frameworks outside Salesforce is a strong plus
